Analog or Dial terminals communicate over a phone line.  They are designed for twisted-pair copper wiring, not Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP/digital) phone lines.  If you have bundled internet and phone service, there may be compatibility issues.  Only a few VOIP providers handle the phone data so that communications meet the data security standards.  We will help sort that out.  If you have VOIP from a provider not meeting the security standards, one alternative is a separate analog phone line.  This is commonly needed for a facsimile (FAX) machine as well.  Another alternative is to use an internet enabled terminal.
